Job Description

    The City of Caldwell has an immediate need for an additional full time Utility Line Locator to provide support to the Caldwell City Water Department. This position will be hired as a temporary, full-time worker for approximately 4 to 6 months and possibly longer term.

    Individual performs activities related to locating City utilities such as water, sewer, MS4, streetlights and fiber; May enter data into asset management/Geographic Information System (GIS) Database.

    Education, Training and experience: Some experience in utility construction and/or electrical technology background. Basic understanding of GIS concepts is preferred.

    Required Special Qualifications:

    • May be required to work during emergency conditions.
    • Possession of a current and valid Idaho State driver’s license.
    • Ability to work outdoors daily.
