Supervise, coordinate, and assist in the construction and repair of both overhead and underground distribution lines during normal daily work or major storm restoration events.

Respond to and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner. Using previous experience as designated crew lead assist crew leads on big projects, hot work and storm events.

Provide leadership and training to line and service personnel on the following: STC, Fatal Rules, Grounding Options, EWP process and current construction specs. Champion safe work practices and ensure compliance to Company Safety Rules.

Organize work and manage multiple task and inputs simultaneously. Work to ensure network goals and objectives are met or exceeded.

Good communication skills, ability to work with others and maintain a positive attitude in extreme working conditions. Must have a strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and accuracy in order to direct Entergy/Contract crews on construction/repair/restoration of electric systems efficiently.

Assist in Network operations, storm restorations, and operation of Maximo, Storm Assist, Click Schedule, Epoch Field, Switching template, and EWP template.

Motivate and influence a diverse and geographically dispersed work force dealing with a wide variety of safety and training issues. Assume Line Supervisor's duties for a short time in their absence.

Minimum of 8 years of line experience or equivalent.

Excellent leadership skills. Strong decision making skills. Ability to manage multiple activities and changing priorities. Self motivated and dependable team player. Ability to work well under pressure. Ability to recognize hazards in the workplace and have the ability to mitigate the hazards. Ability to maintain and care for Company equipment properly and safeguard assets. Desired: Ability to lead and participate in problem solving teams as required; Ability to recognize opportunities for process improvement and have the ability to enact change.

Class A Commercial driver's license.
