User Experience (Ux) Designer - Web Design

Do you have a passion for design and creating a best-in-class user experience? Do you want to build relationships and consult with crew and leaders across Vanguard? If the answer is yes, the Digital Services team within Corporate Communications has the ideal role for you. We are looking for a skilled UX Strategist, Specialist to join our team supporting the Corporate Website and our intranet site CrewNet. In this role, you will partner with various business teams to set/maintain the visual direction, understand/support our brand, as well as design new features, functions, and flows. Additionally, this role will work closely with IT on component development, template creation, and site enhancements across both channels.

In this role you'll;

• Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
• Communicate design solutions clearly and effectively to sponsors, working teams, and IT
• Translate client requirements into functional and technical designs.
• Lead and advise on creative concepts and direction, design solutions, and/or art direction for a rapidly evolving corporate website and intranet site
• Work closely with IT on component development, template creation, and site enhancements within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
• Maintain and developsdesign standards and brand identity.
• Create complex wireframes, prototypes, and design concepts
• Create UX designs in standard software such has as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe CS
• Transform draft materials and concepts into concise and meaningful visuals, media, and/or design solutions. Directs and manages multiple and/or higher profile creative services projects and ensures a cohesive production or end-product.
• Coach and guide junior level UX designer resources within the team
• Create and oversee AEM pages, launches, workflows, and the DAM. Author and maintain experiences in Adobe Experience Manager

What It Takes

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graphic Design or other creative arts degree preferred.
• Five years related work experience.
• Intermediate to advanced skill with web content management systems. AEM experience preferred.
• Strong ability set design direction and guide the implementation of these designs
