UX Engineer (*recent HTML/CSS experience a must!)

Synergis’ client is seeking a UX Engineer to join their team. This individual will contribute to the support of several internal application development teams, helping to drive software products to delivery with optimal user experience. Your role will comprise of a driven, innovative, and creative individual who will implement user interfaces that are intuitive to use and aesthetically pleasing.

UX Engineer | Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for user research and usability testing to validate design decisions
  • Create / manage visual assets and style guides for web and mobile applications
  • Attention to detail and ability to think creatively and independently is critical to the success of this role
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in UX design – share intel with team
  • Ensure product effectiveness and ease of use
  • Facilitate development via personas, journey maps, research reports, sketches, wireframes, and prototypes
  • You will partner closely with the product and development teams to gather requirements, user needs, and user feedback to develop user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs


UX Engineer | Requirements

  • Proficiency in the following UI/UX Design Tools: Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD
  • BS in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in UI/UX design in a software development environment
  • Must have experience in the following coding languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience designing easy to use interfaces for web & mobile applications is required
  • Knowledge of front-end JavaScript frameworks: React, Angular
  • Must have strong portfolio showcasing visual design skills


UX Engineer | Other

  • Ability to work for any US based company without sponsorship at any time
  • Prior knowledge of Vue.js is a plus

Disclaimer: The salary range for this position starts at $130,000 - $145,000 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k.
