The User Experience (UX) Designer is responsible for creating best-in-class solutions to solve user problems. Focused on key areas of the UX process, this role applies a user-centric approach to ensure the products we design enable customers to achieve their goals.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborate to help define product requirements and detailed interaction requirements
• Create designs for enhancements to existing products using wireframes, high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes
• Assist with UX research including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing
• Use customer feedback to understand use cases and inform design decisions
• Iterate on designs based on feedback from development and other internal stakeholders
• Design, build & iterate on Design System components
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of UX design process
• Ability to commute to Lincoln on an as needed basis for customer meetings
YOUR COMPETENCIES
• Solid understanding of user-centered design and UX methods
• Strong problem solving, collaboration and communication skills
• Organization and time management skills
• Experience with design software such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD and/or other prototyping tools
• Knowledge of and ability to follow UX best practices
• Ability to work collaboratively with design, product management and development
• Self-driven individual who can manage multiple projects without supervision and is passionate about using design to improve our customers’ experience with our products

YOUR EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• Open to all levels of experience in the software development field designing digital experiences (2+ years of experienc preferred)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Experience Design, Digital Communications, Multimedia, Graphic Design or related field
• Experience with the Agile/Scrum process preferred
• Portfolio showcasing your work on user experience projects required
