DraftKings is building a team of Data Collectors for the US Sports Trading department to manage data collection and entry during NBA and NFL games this season. As a member of this team, you will play a key role in operating the company’s NBA and/or NFL products with a possibility to get involved with other sports. This is a unique opportunity for sports fans to apply their knowledge of basketball and/or football to help manage a top-tier product in one of the fastest growing industries in the country!

WHAT YOU’LL DO AS A DATA COLLECTOR:

• Pick up on game trends, including individual player fouls, load management and usage percentages.
• Remain up to date with NBA/NFL rosters, rotations and injuries, and use your knowledge of game rules to keep track of live games you are assigned to.
• Track stats from external sources and remain up to date with the live game flow.
• Communicate effectively and partner closely with DraftKings’ Trading, Product and Quality Controls Teams during NBA and NFL games.
• Watch live sports games and collect/analyze data, using the company’s and third-party tools.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

• Strong understanding of individual NBA and/or NFL players and up-to-date knowledge of NBA/NFL rosters, rotations and injuries.
• Regular availability on weekends, weekday evenings, nights and holidays. You will be expected to work from our Las Vegas office 20-25 hours per week and are expected to have the ability to commute or willingness to relocate.
• Tech savvy with ability to use and quickly learn various software and tools.
• Flexible mindset, quick-on-your-feet thinking, and superb ability to problem-solve in real time.
• Ability to keep up with live sporting events and deep understanding of the game rules.
• Fluent English in speaking and writing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.
