Our Universal Healthcare Aide is an essential piece of resident care and safety here at Big Horn Rehabilitation & Care Center. You'll know the ins and outs of every department and assist with the daily functions of each, depending on the needs of our community. It's a great first step in your healthcare career! There is even the potential to train and become licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant! The mission of our Universal Healthcare Aide is to help us provide the best care in the industry and make a meaningful impact in our residents' lives, every day! We believe in a healthy work/ life balance! Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour PTO available after 90 days Medical, Vision & Dental for full time employees plus other great benefits available for part time employees after 60 days Our Universal Healthcare Aides: Helps residents maintain a neat, orderly, and comfortable room by making beds, assisting with clothing, filling water pitcher, etc. Promptly responds to call lights to determine residents' needs. Collect laundry and distribute linens and garments Maintain equipment in each department to ensure work areas are clean and safe Assist in cleaning resident rooms, dining areas, public areas Assists in preparing nourishing, well-balanced meals to meet the daily nutritional and special dietary needs for each resident.
