Ultrasound Tech - 1809 Verdugo Obgyn Clinic

Technically supports the ambulatory clinic in providing general ultrasound studies in coordination with the department’s medical and technical team and in compliance with established standards.

The hourly rate range for this position is $39.00 - $63.95. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.

Minimum Education: • Certification of completion of a sonography program, with emphasis in general ultrasound technology, OR. Minimum Experience/Knowledge: • Certification of completion of a sonography program, with emphasis in general ultrasound technology, or At least 24 months experience performing general ultrasound studies. Required License/Certification: • BLS for Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association. • Fire and Safety Certification. If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire, and maintained by renewal before expiration date.
