Position Overview

Singularity is seeking to hire a talented UI/UX Developer to join our Product Development team. In this role, you will work closely with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to understand user requirements, create wireframes and prototypes, and develop responsive and interactive data-driven applications.

The successful candidate will employ their understanding of UX design and front-end development to create visually appealing, user-friendly products that align with our customers' needs. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute significantly to a start-up focused on creating groundbreaking products for a diverse range of clients.

Requirements

Position Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience.
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to continuously iterate and improve the user experience.
• Develop visually appealing and responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end technologies.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Design, build, and maintain highly reusable UI components for our product in partnership with Product Designers.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.

Technical Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in front-end and front-end adjacent development
• Proficiency using Git.
• Expert knowledge of CSS, LESS or SASS, and CSS preprocessors.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with UI/UX design tools, such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or InVision
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks such as React, Next or Vue.js.
• Expert knowledge of JavaScript and a fundamental understanding of the language, ecosystem, and build tools. TypeScript experience would be a big plus.
• Ability to work with REST and GraphQL APIs.
