GliaCell is seeking a UI Front End Developer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance toward the development of potentially multiple map based web applications including implementation of new capabilities and bug fixes (include integration with data stores and Restful Services as well as potential for system design and architecture).
• Provide insight and help institute best practices, procedures for multiple applications and devise plans to accomplish goals including customer goals.
• Balance and prioritize multiple tasks, potentially gather insight from team members.
• Provide options and recommend changes based on current design standards and trends.
• Individual will primarily be responsible for user experience, user workflow, design and 508 compliance.

Key Requirements:

• Single Page Applications or App Development
• Knowledge of the software development life-cycle
• Experience using a major JavaScript framework (React, Angular, Vue, etc)
• JavaScript
• HTML/CSS

Desired:

• Docker
• Jenkins
• Ability to develop unit testing of code components or complete applications
• Experience managing shared NPM libraries
• Git and software versioning experience
• Typescript
