Responsibilities:

• Build storyboards or similar mockups to conceptualize designs and convey project plans to clients and management
• Create and modify user manuals and functional application requirement documentation
• Design and implement aesthetic web-based user interfaces
• Work closely with a small team of backend developers to design and implement efficient interfaces between backend and frontend components
• Deduce and document use cases from customer requirements

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, plus five years of professional User Interface design & development experience
Top Secret Clearance
Must also have experience with the following special skills:

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple milestones and projects efficiently
• Familiarity with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
• Experience developing web applications and/or desktop application user interfaces
• Experience using one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, PHP, Ruby, etc.)
• Proficiency in using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build user interfaces
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with great attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of UI design principles and common patterns
• Significant experience with one or more JavaScript web frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular

Typical salary range for this position is anywhere from $90,000 to $140,000 but is commensurate with experience relative to the position and can vary depending on location since this role can be remotely located in the United States.
