Shift:1st shift 5:48AM-4:18PM, Monday – Thursday + available overtime

Location: Faribault South – off highway 3 in town behind Casey's and the new Kwik Trip

Summary of duties:

• Repeats operation for each machine setting specified on charts or additional programs.
• Shares knowledge with co-workers to develop their skill level.
• Responsible for maintaining the 5s program for work area.
• Computes punch charts from blueprints or checks punched parts according to pre-control procedures.
• Makes adjustments and performs minor maintenance on machines as needed.
• Aligns work piece to scale and end gauge on machine and clamps it to machine table.
• Places work piece on table.
• Zero sets machine to set indicator to specified dimension on forward and lateral machine scale.
• Follows direction given by team leader and/or supervisor.
• Starts machine to activate punch.
• Calls up program for punch pattern or pushes button to manually turn turret to specified punch and die.
• Inserts, aligns, and locks punches and dies in turret after checking for proper punch and die clearances.
• Assists co-workers in the performance of their duties.

Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to operate hand tools.
• Ability to read and understand written English.
