A Mechanic is responsible for completing the following duties:

• Performing general repairs on propane and refined fuel trucks and transports
• Troubleshooting and repairing 12 volt wiring systems
• Completing repairs on time
• Inspecting trucks and trailers to determine necessary service/repairs
• Ensuring work meets Westmor’s standard of quality and customers’ expectations
• Building propane trucks
• Repairing piping systems, pumps, valves and meters
• Other duties as assigned
• Operating equipment in a safe manner, following appropriate regulations, policies and procedures
• Calibrating meters

Shift: 6:00am - 4:00 pm Monday through Friday, No Holidays, No Weekends (weekend work subject to change in the future)

Qualifications

• Welding skills a plus
• Ability to use gas torch and plasma cutters
• Ability to gain specific knowledge of Westmor's production schedule, processes and product line
• Understanding of 12V electrical systems is preferred
• Strong mechanical background or experience
