Treasury Management Operations Specialist

As our Treasury Management Operations Specialist, you will help the bank by serving as a client liaison for several business units, Treasury Sales, Warehouse Lending, and Merchants Capital, all of which are in the multifamily real estate industry. Some of the day-to-day responsibilities will include remote deposit capture, account analysis, ACH, positive pay, and wire transfer as well as, working with clients on setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting issues. We service all time zones here at Merchants and logging out at 5:00 PM is not always an option when a client issue arises. We are looking for someone who understands that sometimes you must stay a little late to answer questions and give them the very best service.

In one year as a Treasury Management Operations Specialist, you will know you were successful if you

• Attend training on applicable subjects when available and appropriate for the position.
• Assist with managing several sizeable customer relationships.
• Able to work with little supervision and take ownership of customer issues.
• Assist with the administration of online banking, mobile banking, and bill pay.
• Produce accurate daily and monthly reports for customers and management.
• Responsible for working within regulatory guidelines and bank policies that are applicable to the areas this position supports.
• Assist with projects related to cross-department initiatives.

Requirements:
What we are looking for

• A minimum of 5 years of banking experience in the areas of depository services and treasury management is required, or an educational background that provides a level of knowledge typically gained from 5 or more years of treasury management and deposit services experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required.
• Strong customer service skills are required.
• Intermediate proficiency with various word processing and spreadsheet programs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• National Check Professional or Accredited ACH Professional is preferred.
