This is a hybrid position requiring 4 days in-office and 1 day remote during the first 90 days of employment. After 90 days depending on business needs 3 days in-office a 2 days remote in Atlanta, GA only.



Summary: Responsible for preparing, analyzing, interpreting and maintaining the records of the company’s securitization reporting to ensure appropriate adherence to securitization and warehouse credit agreements. Works closely with the Controller, CAO, CFO and Accounting team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Identifies ways to promote efficiency within the financial reporting process to implement and/or incorporate best practices.
  • Responsible for month-end closing activities related to servicing– preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, etc.
  • Support periodic due diligence and audit proceedings for all bank credit facilities and third-party servicing partners.
  • Prepares ad-hoc and other reports as directed by management.
  • Ensures timely completion of compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications, participating in professional organizations.
  • Produce timely and accurate Servicing Reports for securitizations, warehouse financing and third-party servicing programs.
  • Adherence to department policies and procedures.
  • Assists in developing new servicer certificates based on new credit and third-party agreements.
  • Assists with month, quarter and year-end closing processing.
  • Responsible for key internal management reports.
  • Prepares data tapes and related information on new securitizations.
  • Assist in implementing new software solutions.
  • Maintains the company’s securitization accounting records.
  • Reconciles general ledger data to various sub-ledger and system data.
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

  • Technical – Must have advanced/expert level of MS Excel experience and comfort around working with large datasets. Must have experience with MS Access, strong understanding of database structure and queries, and the ability to use SQL freely. Power BI and Power Pivot experience is a plus.

Education and/or Experience


Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related business administration field.


Three plus years previous experience in Accounting or Finance reconciling accounts and preparing financial statements. CPA, MBA, capital markets treasury, securitization and public accounting experience a plus.


Must have experience with MS Excel, Access, strong understanding of database structure and queries, and the ability to use SQL, Power BI and Power Pivot experience, SQL Server Management Studio and SQL coding is a MUST skill and is required.

Strong financial modeling, datamining, statistical analytics or statistical modeling experience would be a plus.



Mathematical Skills Strong math aptitude is essential. Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Other Skills Attention to detail with the ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines is critical; Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems.

Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have advanced proficiency with the following applications MS Excel, MS Word and MS Access or another database query tool.
