Travel X-Ray Technician (Aart Certified)

We have full and part-time positions available for day or evening shift. Immediate opening for a Travel X-Ray Technician (AART Certified). No experience is required, training well be provided. Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

• Computer literate
• Setting controls on the X-Ray machine to produce X-Rays or radiographs of the appropriate density, detail, and contrast
• Ability to travel short & long distances to place of service
• Keeping patient records & adjust / maintain equipment
• Explaining the procedure to the patient
• Setting X-Ray equipment at the correct angle & height over the appropriate area of a patient's body
• Placing exposure board beneath & under the part of the patient's body to be examined & make the exposure
• Positioning radiation protection devices such as lead shields
• Transmitting images via web-based PACs system
• Following physicians instruction & orders precisely
• Positioning the patient properly

Education & Qualifications

• New graduates will be considered if license is obtained
• ARRT Certification with current Texas requirements
• Salary based on experience, starting pay is $24/hr
