Salary $65,000 - $85,000 per year

• Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to think critically to extract insights from data.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in travel and expense management or financial analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
• Proficient with Excel, data modeling, and data mining.
• Experience in building and maintaining automated dashboards using PowerBI.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field.

Job Details

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Travel and Expense Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for streamlining the travel and expense process, data analysis, and building dashboards using PowerBI. The candidate will also help to identify opportunities for cost savings, detect fraud or errors, and implement new processes to optimize our travel and expense program.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct audits of travel and expense records to detect fraud or other discrepancies.
• Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders such as finance, HR, IT, and procurement teams to develop strategies and implement process improvements that optimize travel and expense management, reducing costs and improving efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements by developing quality assurance checks.
• Build and maintain automated dashboards using PowerBI, allowing stakeholders to access real-time reporting on travel and expense metrics.
• Analyze and evaluate large amounts of data to identify patterns, discrepancies and trends in travel and expense spend and patterns.
• Develop and implement recommendations based on data analysis results to identify areas of opportunity, potential cost savings, and process improvements.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in technology, recommending best practices for travel and expense management.
