Resident Transporter

Gig Harbor Health is looking for a Full time Transportation Scheduler / Driver to assist residents to transport to destinations, they will also be responsible for Scheduling appointments; set up appointments or follow up appointments, updating the receiving medical facilities of their patients' conditions.

Job Skills & Qualifications Required:

• Strong reading comprehension and written communication skills, customer service.
• Able to learn new information quickly and apply information towards future decision making and problem solving
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Driving Experience

Experience: One year of experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Other Duties as assigned
• Responsible for receiving and accepting assignment
• Responsible for other duties as designated by charge nurse or supervisor
• Assisting or total performance of personal care of resident
• Assures appropriate food and fluid intake of residents
• Responsible for applying procedures to promote the control of disease and infection
• Responsible for assuring a comfortable and safe environment
• Observing and reporting changes of physical and mental conditions of residents
