FUNCTION: Transport and deliver equipment between yard and job sites.

Key Activities

• Visualizes and implements the Clyde Companies, Inc. vision and core values
• Report all accident involving driver or company equipment to manager
• Operate commercial or non-commercial vehicle in safe and efficient manner
• Observe safety rules and regulations at customer job sites and facilities
• Promote professionalism and excellent customer service attitude
• Transport, deliver and retrieve small construction equipment (skid steer, mini ex, small rollers, etc.)
• Preform pre and post vehicle inspection.
• Ensure proper paperwork and logs are maintained accurately
• Maintain open communication with managers and dispatch for delivery schedules
• Promptly report any delays due to breakdowns, weather, traffic conditions or any other problem relating to timely pick-ups or delivery of equipment
• Secure construction equipment and other equipment by means of chaining, strapping and blocking under the strict accordance of established procedures
• Ensure all delivery documents are properly maintained during the workday and are available for inspection upon request by management or state traffic safety officers
• Apply knowledge of driving and/or commercial driving skills in maneuvering at various speeds in difficult locations, heavy traffic, inclement weather, mountainous terrain or tight loading dock areas
• Maintain flexibility in daily routine

Knowledge And Skills

• Minimum of one year driving experience.
• Class A CDL.
• Clean driving record.

Education / Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs
