Job Description

Key Role:

Design and fabricate various training aids to accurately replicate enemy conventional and unconventional threat systems and equipment in support of home station training, combat training center (CTC), and partner nation engagements. Analyze threat intelligence of enemy threat to fuse the latest designs into training aid models and prototypes to maintain relevancy and keep pace with threat tactics evolution. Collaborate with the Joint Interagency Intergovernmental and Multinational (JIIM) community of interest to promote knowledge sharing and create efficiencies through fabrication best practices and exacting techniques. Engage stakeholders as needed to define requirements and maximize training aid utility based on scenario or training application. Track and maintain accountability of all training aids and comply with all client and contract reporting requirements. Manage all transactions for material cost projections, procurement, and expenditure reconciliation. Facilitate instruction in support of Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) basic electronics and fabrication requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of additive manufacturing
  • Experience with fabricating explosive hazards and other military training aids
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Ability to deconstruct models of threat systems and explosive hazards and leverage exploitation reports and alike sources for replication
  • Secret clearance
  • Experience operating woodworking and other shop tools, including panel and table saws, drill press, or Computer Numerical Control (CNC) milling machine
  • 5+ years of experience in the military as a Maneuver, Fires, or Maneuver Support professional
  • Experience with using Microsoft Office

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM)
  • Experience with casting and molding
  • Advanced Electronics Training Certification
  • Associate’s degree
  • Experience with training facilitation
  • Experience with explosive hazards reverse engineering and exploitation
  • Experience with C-IED and IED defeat operations

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
