Job Description

Full Time position in Carol Stream, IL

Description

Join our team of 7 talented trailer technicians in our busy and growing repair shop. We work on everything from cargo trailers, snowplows, and hitches to custom car haulers, mobile restaurants, and command centers!

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and small trailer repairs
  • Install standard and custom trailer hitches, brake controllers and wiring
  • Install new snow plows and wiring along with repairing old equipment
  • Replace bearings, brakes and axles

Education Requirements

  • A job for which military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma/GED

Qualifications

  • Open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma/GED
  • Some Tools required
  • Current and valid Driver’s License
  • Must be able to lift and handle heavy loads
  • A job for which military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Experience fixing bearings, brakes, axles, brake controllers, and wiring is required
  • MINIMUM 3 Years of Mechanical Experience required

Compensation/Benefits

  • $27-$32 per hour based on experience
