Tourism Coordinator Jobs

The Tourism Coordinator will research hotel, flight, and car rental availability, book travel arrangements, confirm reservations and make itinerary changes as necessary. Our Coordinators communicate travel plans and itineraries to clients, answer questions about travel policies and processes and help prepare clients for their upcoming trip. It is the responsibility of the Tourism Coordinator to sort through vast amounts of information to find the best possible itinerary for travelers in order to boost client satisfaction and retention. This is a remote position, so you must have access to a computer and reliable internet.

Qualifications

• Candidates with personal experience in traveling will be given preference
• Works well with minimal supervision
• Passionate about tourism and helping people
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Professional interpersonal and communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent time-management skills
• Ability to research tourism trends and options
• Proficient in English
• Good understanding of how to navigate websites and booking engines
• Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
• Demonstrates effective sales skills and a customer-oriented approach
• Customer service, sales or marketing experience is a plus
