Toolroom Machinist
Summary
AAM Metal Forming located in Royal Oak, is looking for an experienced CNC Lathes Programmer/Operator to join our team. This is a afternoon (2nd) shift position. Currently, we are offering a $1,000 sign-bonus. Associate will receive the sign-on bonus after 90 days of employment.

• Experience with Blueprints and GD&T, a tolerance of +/-.001
• The ability to pass a background check and a drug test is required
• The ability to design a program independently
• At least five years of conversational CNC programming experience (Mazatrol preferred), as well as five or more years of setting up and operating lathes.
• Experience machining hardened tool steel preferred

Required Skills And Education

• Shop Math Skills
• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
• Required eight (8) years of documented experience or UAW Journeyman card.
• Excellent Communication Skills
• High School / GED
