Job Description
Summary You will serve as a TOOL ROOM OFFICE ASSISTANT in the Tooling Branch of FLTREADCEN EAST. Responsibilities You will receive and review source data documentation for accuracy and completeness; e,g., tool data packages, permanent tool custody sheets, replacement tool requests, lost/stolen tool reports. You will coordinate with computer operators to determine system status of previously scheduled programs. You will enter data into the depot Tool Inventory Management Application (TIMA) system, using the Automated Tool Inventory Control and Tracking System (ATICTS) software. You will correct minor program control errors. You will distribute products to users. You will work closely with supervisor, work leader, and users to establish and coordinate workload priorities for data updates (input) and for products (output). Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-5 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Working knowledge of the terms, structures, control and command strategies of a user oriented query and control language (TCL) in order to input data into a central computer system; 2) Providing recurring and demand processing data/reports for local functional program users; 3) Ensuring processing of recurring production requirements; 4) Working knowledge of the specialized Automated Tool Inventory Control and Tracking System (ATICTS) software language.
