Job Description
BSG Maintenance is a family owned and operated company located in West Bend. We support the cleaning, dietary, and laundry services of assisted living facilities, long-term care residencies, and hospitals. We are looking for a Timekeeper to work at our corporate office. This is not a remote position.


Position Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Timekeeper. As a Timekeeper, you will be responsible for accurately tracking and recording employee attendance, managing time-off requests, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in human resources and possess knowledge of Paycom software. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our workforce management processes and ensure the smooth operation of our organization.


Time And Attendance Management


Accurately record and maintain employee attendance records, including clock-in/out times, breaks, and absences.


Review and reconcile timecards, ensuring accuracy and completeness.


Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to time and attendance records.


Time-Off Management


Process and track employee time-off requests, ensuring appropriate documentation and adherence to company policies.


Coordinate with managers and employees to schedule and manage vacation, sick leave, and other time-off requests.


Maintain accurate records of accrued and utilized time-off balances for each employee.


Monitor time budgets and work with managers to ensure time budgets are met.


Compliance And Reporting


Ensure compliance with company policies, and relevant labor laws.


Generate regular reports on attendance, overtime, and other time-related metrics for management review.


Paycom Administration


Utilize Paycom software to manage time and attendance, including data entry, system updates, and troubleshooting.


Provide support and training to employees on the proper use of Paycom for timekeeping purposes.


Collaborate with the HR team and Paycom representatives to implement system enhancements and resolve any technical issues.


Other


Communication and Customer Service:


Communicate effectively with employees, managers, and other stakeholders regarding timekeeping policies, procedures, and inquiries.


Provide exceptional customer service by addressing time-related concerns and assisting with problem resolution.


Serve as a resource for employees seeking guidance on time and attendance matters.


Qualifications


High school diploma or equivalent (associate's or bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred).


Experience as a timekeeper or in a similar role with exposure to human resources functions.


Familiarity with Paycom or similar time and attendance software is a plus.


Solid understanding of labor laws and regulations related to timekeeping and attendance.


Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.


Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.


Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.


Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.


Proficient in using computer systems and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
