Job Description

All staff members at MultiCare Yakima Memorial must be in compliance with our Vaccination Policy, which includes the COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) vaccine, by their first day of employment.


Actual pay rate will be calculated based on relevant years of experience and education/certification requirements.


ROLE SUMMARY

Performs select routine tasks related to the operation of rehabilitation services and may assist with patient related activities under the guidance of the Physical or Occupational Therapist.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports and fosters personalized patient care, incorporating cultural, ethnic, religious or age specific needs of the patient.
  • Interprets data gathered in assessment and provides care appropriate to age-related needs.
  • Maintains adequate supply of linens and other materials used in the department.
  • Cleans equipment and maintain a safe, neat and efficient working environment.
  • Performs general office procedures as directed by the physical or occupational therapist or the Office Manager.
  • Prepares patients for treatment and assists licensed staff as required.
  • Attends and participates in required department and other meetings.
  • Participates in the quality improvement process as directed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required to provide quality care to patients.
  • Meets established productivity expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent required.

Experience: Previous experience as a Physical Therapist Aide or related health care experience preferred.

Level of Business Knowledge/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Able to identify and report abuse; Knowledge of growth and development principles.
