Job Title: Test Engineer V

Location: Burlingame, CA - Onsite

Duration: 12 Months

Top 3 must-have HARD skills:

[Required] Understanding C, C++, Java, and Python code

[Required] Understanding test-driven development and can write comprehensive integration and automation tests in C++

[Required] Understanding of dependency injection and mocking Bach required

Good to have skills:

[Required] Working with AOSP codebase

[Required] Capable of efficiently reproducing bugs with some level of guidance on repro steps

Plus if experienced with testing frameworks Google Test, Mockito, etc.

[Required] Operating with git repositories (to do bisections)

[Required] Capable of efficiently reproducing bugs with some level of guidance on repro steps

[Optional] Plus if experienced working with Soong and Make build systems

[Optional] Understanding of parallel programming: concurrency, mutex, condition variables, race conditions

[Optional] Plus if skilled to do tracing on Android

Job Responsibilities:

• Help with improving overall test coverage and testability of the stack.

• Enable the creation and enhancements of mocks to improve the unit testability of the system.

• Contribute to diagnosis and stability of failing tests and provide long-term solutions to reduce flakiness.

• Plans and directs activities concerned with the development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products.

• Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation, utilizing knowledge in engineering fields such as chemical, electrical, or mechanical.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
