Job Description

L.L.Bean is currently looking for temporary/full-time Embroidery Machine Operators, to join their team in Lewiston, ME. We embroider company logos, names, and symbols on our merchandise.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate a positive attitude and have close attention to detail, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The job involves setting up and operating commercial embroidery machines.
Must be proficient in the English language and have strong interpersonal, verbal and computer skills. As an Embroidery Operator, you will operate a 6 head machine, creating a variety of customized products. You must be able to maintain speed and efficiency with little supervision and be fully committed to excellent customer service.
Available shifts:
1st shift: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm
2nd shift: Monday-Friday: 3:00-11:30pm
During our Peak sales timeframe, there will be weeks when a weekend day may be scheduled, and early starts/late stays may also be offered to help ensure customer deadlines are met.
Temporary positions possibly until February 2024.
Responsibilities:
  • Assumes additional related responsibilities as required.
  • Select correct thread color and guide it through bobbin.
  • Processes customer order according to customer specifications utilizing various equipment at full capacity
  • Operate embroidery machine to embroider business logos, initials, or decorative designs on merchandise.
  • Use embroidery hoops to hold fabric in place during embroidery
  • Performs support, Quality Assurance and verifying as needed.
  • Prepare and package orders for shipping
  • Fill orders in a timely and accurate manner
