General Notes

Please no phone calls or emails. We are looking at a start date of September 18th, 2023 The projected end date for this temporary assignment is October 31, 2023. We have several positions to fill.
Purpose
To provide flu vaccine injections at UHS outreach clinics on campus.
Responsibilities
  • Exhibits exceptional customer service, professionalism, and teamwork in all aspects of work.
  • Demonstrates regular and punctual attendance pattern.
  • Provide flu vaccine injections including documentation per UHS requirements.
Required Qualifications
Licensed as a Vocational Nurse in the state of Texas. One year or more of experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. Demonstrated ability to successfully work with a diverse community and provide services from a non-judgmental perspective. Excellent verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience administering routine immunizations. 2. Experience using an electronic medical record.
Hourly Rate
$24.00
Working Conditions
  • Business attire
  • Shirts/pants or scrubs, closed-toe shoes; additional working conditions: walking; provide surgical masks and hand sanitizer; provide a working environment where mask-wearing is enforced for all staff.
Work Shift
  • The work schedule will vary. Hours per week will vary between 16 - 24 hours. Work schedule to be discussed during the interview.
