ANNOUNCEMENT OF VACANCY - NON-CONTRACT AT-WILL POSITION
POSITION
TEMPORARY FOOD SERVICE WORKER
4 hours/day Summer 2023 only
SALARY
\$14.53/hour
STARTING DATE
June 12, 2023
END DATE
August 18, 2023
HOURS/DAYS
9:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m.

Work under the direction of the Head Cook. Duties include but are not limited to: preparing food, serving, clean up and recordkeeping for the summer meal program.
Qualifications
Knowledge of sanitation and techniques used in food handling; ability to follow instructions; accuracy in record keeping and cash counting.
Experience in serving and working with quantity food preparation desired.

• Willingness to perform various cleaning tasks necessary to maintain compliance with sanitation requirements.

Ability to complete food safety and sanitation courses as required for the position.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to stand for long periods of time and in conditions of extreme heat.
Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds.
Ability to work as a team member in a fast paced environment and collaborate positively with others.
Ability to promote health and nutrition to school children and provide a positive environment.
