Job Description

Our growing Managed Information Services Consulting team is looking for a Technology Specialist to join our team to provide technology support to our clients. This position will be based out of our Massillon office and require on-site work at various client locations around the Ohio area.


Responsibilities


  • Test recovery of client data and servers
  • Configure and install new workstations for Rea clients
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Triage incoming calls and support tickets submitted by clients
  • Identify alerts in remote management and monitoring systems that require resolution and assign to appropriate staff
  • Monitor client server backup jobs, resolve errors as needed
  • Generate predefined reports and send to client contacts on a scheduled basis
  • Respond to client needs as it relates to designing, implementing, managing and supporting technology equipment and solutions
  • Proactively monitor, manage and repair client owned systems and solutions
  • Use Rea systems to monitor client environments and record details of work performed
  • Manage client anti-virus solutions
  • Respond to level 1 and 2 support requests as needed
  • Conduct on-site support tasks at client locations


Requirements


  • Two-year degree in technology related field or equivalent work experience and industry
  • Experience working in an MSP environment preferred
  • Solid knowledge of networking components. E.g. Switches, routers, servers and workstations
  • Must type a minimum of 40 Words Per Minute
  • Experience with Windows 2012 – 2022 server and Windows 7, 8, and 10 workstation operating systems, Microsoft Office Applications
  • Familiarity with HP and Dell workstations and laptops
  • Microsoft Certified Professional
  • Experience with enterprise backup and antivirus solutions
