Technology Services Engineer Jobs

NTCA is seeking a self-starter, self-motivated Technology Services Engineer to join our team of Technology Services Engineers. Responsibilities include maintain, design, configure and deploy the organization's network infrastructure. This position will provide advanced technical support for network equipment, servers, firewalls, switches, routers and other telecommunications systems as well as providing support to users across the organization.

What you will do:

• Perform server and security audits, system backups and recovery.
• Research, design, configure and deploy network/server infrastructure, including LANs, WANs and wireless networks as well as servers, routers, hubs, switches, USPs, workstations and other hardware.
• Ability to work independently or with a variety of user groups.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve network security vulnerabilities and participate in incident response.
• Hands-on knowledge of network, server, and PC operating systems including Microsoft Windows and various databases
• Advanced working knowledge of VMWare, Cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS) LAN/WAN technology, network security principles, and network design and management best practices
• What skills and experience are needed:
• Experience with automated file transfer applications
• Provide technical support to the NTCA user community.
• Create and maintain documentation related to network configuration, mapping, processes, service records, server/application configuration, user workstation and application configuration.
• An undergraduate degree in computer science or 5-7 years of related work experience desired.
• Excellent hardware troubleshooting and customer service skills
