Job Summary
Generates, edits, proofs, and distributes program documentation using Microsoft’s Office Suite version 2010 or later. Provides documentation in Adobe’s portable document format, as required. Documents include program plans, status reports, and technical documentation in accordance with the program data management plan. Attends peer review meetings, collects input from participants, and incorporates the changes to program documents such as design documentation, white papers, engineering analysis, technical research papers, and performance charts, as required.
Telework is not supported. Travel is not required.
Responsibilities and Duties
Prepares layout and draft artwork for illustrations, charts, figures, and other mediums. Creates new or modify existing documents, processes, workflows, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to meet Program requirements and process improvement initiatives. Conducts annual review of Program Plans, Processes, and other related Program materials as required. Assists with annual update to C4/IT Typologies Package.
Qualifications And Skills
Required knowledge and years of experience
Must have at least five (5) years of experience with US Navy C4I systems architecture, installation, integration, and testing. Must have at least 5 (five) years of experience with Fleet Modernization process stakeholders and organizational relationships. Must have at least 5 (five) years of experience with MS Office and other software such as Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Adobe Pro, CAD programs. Must have at least 5 (five) years of experience to generate, edit, proof, and distribute program documentation to include program plans, status reports, and technical documentation. Must have at least 5 (five) years of experience with reviewing and developing, technical correspondence, reports, documents, drawings, and/or analyses. Must have at least 5 (five) years of experience supporting peer review meetings, collect input from participants, and incorporate the changes to program documents such as design documentation, white papers, engineering analysis, technical research papers, and performance charts, as required. Must have at least 5 (five) years of experience with creating new or modify existing documents processes, workflows, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to meet Program requirements and process improvement initiatives. Must have at least 5 (five) years of experience with exercising critical thinking and independent judgment dealing with urgency factors, changing priorities, and constraints in successful project execution.

The minimum salary starts at $95,000 and the max is negotiable based on experience.
