Responsibility:

AXON Networks is seeking a dedicated, analytical, and proactive Technical Support Engineer/Field Application Engineer with strong interpersonal skills. In this role, you will be working closely with our Sales and Engineering teams, setting up test instances and monitoring systems. You will also be supporting our customers in troubleshooting issues, providing feedback, and documenting new use cases and requirements.

  • Provide feedback from customers, document new test cases and lessons learned
  • Support AXON Networks products
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, third party vendors and customers
  • Work with our sales team, engineering team and customers to setup and configure test instances
  • Troubleshoot customer reported issues, root cause and drive to resolution
  • Work with our IT team to design and install Clean & Screen setups (RMA screening) for our customers
  • Works with our partners on testing new products
  • Develop sample tools and scripts for our customers to utilize our platform(s)
  • Provide on-site support for our customer in Denver
  • Provide on-site testing in different locations
  • Arrange for different setups in the lab and the test house to reproduce issues and test fixes
  • Manage and maintain AXON's test house including setups, inventory and circuitry


Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Python, Perl, CGI scripts or other languages is preferred
  • Working knowledge of Linux shell scripting is required
  • Experience in working with networking tools such as Spirent, Veriwave, Ixia and GPON MT2 is preferred
  • Location: Denver, Colorado area for onsite customer support
  • Working knowledge in Telecom and IP networking domains with expertise in CPE, Consumer and Operator’s networks.
  • BS or MS in Electronics, Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in software
  • Highly flexible and multitasking to adapt and work effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Having a valid driver’s license, willing to travel nationally and internationally for short trips
