TopoGEN R&D facilities are located in the middle of the Rocky mountains near Salida and Buena Vista. Rural life in a boutique and quant mountain village includes an abundance of outdoor recreational activities, views and spectacular qualities for a rich life experience. We are especially interested in locally sourced hires, but may consider qualified individuals who are moving into a rural mountain environment for quality of life. Right now, we have a ½ time position but for the right applicant, this could be full time. Living in rural mountains is affordable; however, housing is less so. Responsibilities

Ordering, data analysis, maintaining cell cultures, performing experiments in molecular biology, biochemistry and cell biology/genetics.

Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work with other professionals, lab experience in life sciences (BS, MS minimum but may consider people with experience and no degree). Ideally, someone with experience in areas such as DNA cloning, Flow Cytometry, tissue culture, protein biochemistry, fluorescent imaging, live imaging (time lapse with GFP+ cells), virology and microbiology.
