Jordan Technology is a 10-year-old MSP, IT, Cybersecurity, and Web & Digital Marketing Firm based out of Ridgeland, Mississippi. We are a very small, but extremely powerful and effective, professional service provider & technology company. We are a one-stop, full-service, long-term, and fully managed Technology & Digital Service Provider.

We are in need of a highly organized and experienced technical project manager to oversee our internal and external web, digital, and hosting projects from concept to completion.

About the Technical Project Manager role:

This role is of a client-facing, digital marketing-focused project manager. You’ll work directly with clients, alongside an account manager, as well as manage internal teams that deliver services that exceed the client’s goals, delivered on time, and on budget.

As a Technical Project Manager, you should have a passion for WordPress and managing the day-to-day project execution across website design, development, and customization projects. This position requires a highly organized mind and the ability to communicate very well. You will guide clients through the entire web design & development process, working with our design, development, content, marketing, SEO, and back-end teams to create top-ranking websites.

Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:

• Manage day-to-day website project execution.
• Lead client conversations related to the technical website project, including concept, development, demos, training, and webinars.
• Manage both internal and external projects.
• Assist with preparing project proposals, estimates and labor costs.
• Monitor the progress of multiple projects making sure they are on time and within budget.
• Demonstrate curiosity and initiative when presented with problems and obstacles.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, tasks, and sprints.
• Conduct weekly meetings with internal project teams.
• Organize and plan all activities to ensure projects are on time.
• Assist clients with technical support needs during projects.
• Partner with Account Managers to develop strong working relationships with clients.
• Provide efficient transparency for all stakeholders.
• Participate in weekly team meetings.
• Conduct new client kickoff meetings and progressive project meetings.
• Monitor team resources daily, proactively escalating if there are concerns before impact to schedule, budget, or timeline.
• Oversee internal QA testing process across team members, cross-checking deliverables for accuracy prior to review and release.
• Provide technical and functional direction to team members, as well as assign and manage workload.
• Manage new website and digital projects from concept to completion, including WordPress & WooCommerce design, development, customization, SEO, optimization, hosting, plugin development, API development, and related services.
• Work with internal teams to create and maintain project roadmaps and timelines.

Here’s what we're looking for:

Prior Experience:

• Strong knowledge of web mockups – photoshop, XD, Figma, including PSD mockups to live production development.
• Familiar with web security concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of website design, development, UI/UX, SEO, hosting, customization, security, maintenance, plugins, and integrations.
• Proven success in technical project management and project coordination.
• Proven success working experience working in web development or support with WordPress CMS.
• Strong knowledge of WordPress content management systems.
• Prior experience working with WordPress and WooCommerce.
• Prior experience working with WordPress core customization projects including PHP-level functionality.
• Familiar with cPanel and WHM hosting platforms.
• Strong knowledge of WooCommerce e-commerce system.
• 3-5 years of Project Management experience in web, digital or related industries.
• Familiar with SEO/SEM/PPC.
• Prior experience managing website projects across cross-functioning teams.

Recommended Skills:

• Experience with web security concepts.
• Experience with SEO/SEM/PPC.
• Experience with cPanel and WHM hosting platforms.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, Hosting, Domains & DNS.
• CSM or PMP certifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Compensation:
