Overview

i3 is seeking a Technical Project Manager to support an enterprise-wide product line factory that enables training, threats, and allows programs to develop, secure, deploy and operate training capabilities in a secure, flexible, and interoperable manner. The government envisions that this construct will maximize the commonality, reuse and interoperability of modernization programs and product lines while meeting business goals. Using DevSecOps and cloud expertise, this project will establish and execute a methodology that utilize approved cloud and\or on-prem resources to migrate programs to an open, non-proprietary, industry standard multi-tenant DevSecOps solution. This position is located in Orlando, FL.

Responsibilities

• Takes projects from original concept through final user acceptance. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including Integrated Project Team, Government Stakeholders, DevSecOps, and Application Analysts.
• In addition, dedicated Cloud Platform Architect to lead platform architecture, design as well as support project team onboarding and application deployment.
• Responsible for all aspects of the development and testing of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects.
• Manages the integration of any software vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
• Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
• Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
• Managed through project scope and objective adjustments. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
• Leads an IPT of engineers, analysts, and/or technicians assigned for the duration of a project or may function as ongoing lead within a group of engineers associated with one or more technical areas within the telecom function (such as, but not limited to, network design, engineering, implementation, or operations/user support).
• Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.
• Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
• Responsible for the completion of assigned engineering projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Active DoD security clearance preferred.
• Must possess a PMP certification.
• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of DoD/Intel experience delivering IT systems. Additional experience may substitute for degree.
• S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to work with little to no prescribed direction.
• At least 5 years of successfully managing similar projects is preferred.
• Must possess a Cloud Engineer/Architect certification.
• Agile certification is preferred.
