MRM CPAs & Advisors is seeking a skilled and dynamic Tax Manager.As a Tax Manager, you will work closely with our clients and firm team members, providing exceptional accounting and tax services for both business and individual clients. Alongside possessing the technical skills, knowledge, and experience required, the ideal candidate will display a positive attitude, confidence, and drive to succeed in a progressive and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Review and prepare estimated tax projections
• Review and prepare state tax returns for multi-state organizations
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering valuable insights and guidance
• Foster an efficient, innovative, and team-oriented work environment
• Identify opportunities to maximize client relationships and deliver added value
• Mentor staff and delegate tasks effectively, fostering their professional growth
• Review and prepare various tax returns, including 1120, 1120S, 1040, 1041, 990,706, payroll, and sales tax returns
• Provide outstanding client service, maintaining proactive communication throughout the year
• Build and maintain productive client and team relationships
• Collaborate with partners on proposals and business development initiatives
• Supervise IRS controversy audits and correspondence
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex accounting and tax concepts and apply them to client situations

Qualifications:

• Excellent project and time management skills
• Exceptional professional presence and leadership skills
• CPA certification required
• Dedication to teamwork and leadership
• Minimum 4+ years of public accounting experience required
• Integrity within a professional environment
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills
• CCH Axcess experience a plus
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
