Tax Accountant Jobs

Established public accounting firm seeking a full-time Tax Accountant. Candidates must have a BS in Accounting with at least 5 years experience in public accounting with concentration in tax and accounting. Responsibilities will include tax preparation - individual & corporate income tax, payroll tax, sales tax; Tax research; Monthly accounting functions, including account reconciliations, financial statement analysis, overview of clients' general ledger postings; Assistance with Quickbooks.

Candidate should possess:

• Strong accounting skills
• Time management skills to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of MS office applications, Adobe Acrobat and Quickbooks a must.
• Drake Tax software preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• Sbility to work independently
• CPA firm experience required. CPA license or CPA candidate preferred.
