CNSI is currently looking for a PLSQL Systems Analyst to join our growing team working remote!

Flexibility in hours needed to accommodate client on Pacific time.

Summary:

The Systems Analyst, Associate will work in team using your PL/SQL skills to provide technical and operational support to our WA State Medicaid system, ProviderOne. You will have the opportunity to enhance your technical skills as you learn our products/ systems, as well as the Gov health information systems that affect thousands of citizens.

As a member of the WA Ops team, you will assist in identifying problems, troubleshooting, resolving, and escalating system issues and will report directly to the System Analyst, Manager.

CNSI supports a high-volume healthcare data system that is accessed through multiple web portals and operates out of multiple data centers that you will contribute.

• Position is remote. Candidates located in Olympia, WA or Pacific time zone preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop coding-level flowcharts, action diagrams, pseudo codes, and associated documents from high-level flowcharts
• Analyze and study system requirements and assist in problem-solving by producing complex flow charts/data flow diagrams and/or associated documents
• Contribute to problem-solving and/or designs and assist in implementation of new software applications or programs
• Collaborate on computer requirements and limitations to help define automation needs
• Participate in the testing of computer programs, revising and refining all necessary documentation as testing is completed
• Triage production tickets and troubleshoots issues as needed
• Coordinate tasks with team and leadership required for implementation, operations and maintenance
• Monitor system errors, diagnoses and corrects errors
• Write procedural guidance to be followed by users
• Develop pseudo codes, tables, and narrative descriptions to implement changes

Required Experience/Skills:

• 1+ year experience of hands on PL/SQL programming
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) as well as system support and maintenance processes, and knowledge of version control (preferably SVN) and defect management tools (preferably Jira)
• Knowledge in creating database tables, views, stored procedures, triggers and functions
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 1-year relevant work experience, or in lieu of degree equivalent experience
• Ability to use reasoning to troubleshoot, solve, and escalate technical problems
• Knowledge of relational database concepts and experience working with relational databases, preferably Oracle
