Position Summary:
The Systems Administrator technician is responsible for day-to-day technical support and network administration including clinical applications. The incumbent will troubleshoot on-premises servers, workstations, applications, cloud-based applications and platforms with a focus on availability, reliability, integrity, and security.


Responsibilities:
  • Responds to requests in a timely manner for technical support for staff in using applications, hardware and processes.
  • Auxiliary support for the general IT Team in the field during affiliate onboarding events.
  • Tests, maintains, and monitors computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems at the affiliate level.
  • Supports enhancement and upgrade efforts for on premise and vendor managed applications including configuration and deployment.
  • Provide well rounded support by being proficient with general network, security, and server/desktop management.
  • Sets up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, phones, or appropriate software for corporate staff and affiliates if needed.
  • Provide daily onsite and remote IT support as needed for Affiliates in the Chicago area.
  • Responsible for providing intermediate level support of operating systems, applications, hardware and software tools, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Auxiliary support for the Implementation Team in the field, during Super User/Provider Training Sessions and Go Live Events.
  • Provides effective communication to stakeholders of technical concerns, issues and solutions.
  • Maintains systems architecture in support of core business functions.
Qualifications:
  • A+, Network +, Security + preferred.
  • Team player that develops strong collaborative working relationships with internal partners and can effectively engage and ability to build consensus among cross-functional teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external.
  • Experience in managing servers, databases, and networks as a part of application support.
  • Exercises sound judgment in responding to inquiries; understands when to route inquiries to next level.
  • Minimum of 3 years of general Information Technology (IT) work experience required (MSP experience highly preferred)
  • Ability to learn and master the tools, systems, and processes that EyeSouth utilizes.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Meraki, Fortinet, Ring Central, Connectwise, Zendesk, IT Glue preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external.
  • Minimum of 3 years of healthcare technology experience preferred; EHR/PM solutions a plus.
