To ensure success as an Afterschool Associate, you should have excellent conflict resolution and communication skills, and be patient and energetic.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As an Afterschool Associate, you will:

• Maintain expectations and procedures during all activities; e.g. cafeteria, hallway transitions, playground, classroom, etc.
• Maintain the highest standards of professionalism - consistent, punctual and regular attendance.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for students in collaboration with team members.
• Monitors individual and/or group of students in a variety of settings (e.g. classroom, playground, cafeteria, etc) ensuring that students are supervised at all times.
• Report any concerns which arise with children to the After School Manager.
• Respond to emergency situations such as injuries in a proactive manner.
• Work consistently with the After School Program Manager, after school associates, and students.
• Attend meetings with the After School Manager and staff in training opportunities for the purpose of reviewing and coordinating after school activities and learning new instructional techniques.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19 an hour

Work Schedule (August 2023 - June 2024)

• Wednesday (2:00pm - 6:00pm)
• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (3:00pm - 6:00pm
