Swim Instructor Jobs

Farmington Country Club is gearing up for the Spring and Summer seasons, and we're looking for Swim Instructors to join our Aquatics team! Swim Instructors are responsible for demonstrating competency to teach and lead specific skills and activities in the water.

A great Swim Instructor...

• Exhibits patience and empathy in all interactions.
• Is able to adapt and instruct skilled knowledge to children with age-appropriate games.
• Demonstrates and communicates skilled knowledge in swimming to members/guests of all ages.
• Understands the importance of and delivers high quality service.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to commit to a minimum of ten (10) hours per week;
• Professional communication skills, a high level of organizational skills, and good attention to detail
• Must be sixteen (16) years of age or older;
• Minimum of one (1) year of swim instructor experience strongly preferred;
• Ability to demonstrate and communicate skilled knowledge in swimming to all ages;
• Ability to work with children from six (6) months to Adults;

Certifications:

• American Red Cross or equivalent CPR and AED Training required
• American Red Cross or equivalent Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification is a plus!
