Sweeper Truck Driver Jobs

We are looking to fill our Sweeper Driver position. This person will play a vital role in improving and maintaining our clients’ needs while complying with company standards and policies. We are looking for a dependable individual who can work independently and efficiently while keeping safety top of mind.

Essential Job Function(s):
Operates sweeping vehicle that cleans streets, parking lots, trash, leaves and other.
Ensures supplies and material handling equipment is secured prior to operating sweeper.
Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle.
Ensures vehicle is operating correctly while on the route and notifies site supervisor regarding maintenance of any concerns.
Immediately reports any unsafe situations/service calls to Route Supervisor/ Dispatch before attempting service.
Participates and cooperates in all scheduled training, briefings, and safety meetings as required by the Company.
Works closely with Site Supervisors to improve route efficiencies and identify any on-road issues.
Performs all duties as scheduled by Route Supervisor or Dispatch, assisting other company drivers as directed.
Notifies Route Supervisor of any incidents/accidents/injures/property damage.
Provides a positive professional customer attitude when dealing with customers.
Completes job tickets with information and leaves with customer when required.

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED
Valid Driver's License

Schedule:
Night Shift: 9:30pm- 6am, weekends
Work Independently
