Job Description
Kloopify is looking for a Sustainability Data Analyst to join our team in our Pittsburgh location. The Sustainability Data Analyst is responsible for managing data sets of procurement transactions, commodities, suppliers and life cycle databases to develop processes, reports and visualizations.


The ideal person for this position has an exceptional eye for detail, expertise as a data analyst, and a solid understanding of popular data analysis tools. He/she will work closely with product owners across various lines of business to understand the objectives of the organization and prioritize requirements.


Responsibilities:


The Sustainability Data Analyst role will assist with all data processing and database management tasks supporting the eco-assessment and analysis of procurement transactions. The work will involve working heavily in Excel plus processing and mapping transactions of purchased goods and services. This process will require the development, use and improvement of macros/scripts/automation and the manipulation of data from public and private databases. The analyst will document procedures and prepare data for reporting and further Life Cycle Analysis


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Management or a related field
  • Very comfortable working with Excel
  • Two years of experience as a data analyst or in a related field
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Power Automate / Excel Power Query / Power BI is a plus
  • Experience with data cleaning, data mapping, unit conversions, and process documentation
