Job Description
  • Possesses a sense of responsibility, initiative and honesty.
  • DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.
  • Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
  • Knowledge of principles of asepsis.
  • DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
      The Surgical Technologist is responsible for the care and use of instruments in the operating room. This position requires on call response time to department within 30 minutes.
  • Diploma from an accredited surgical technology program.
  • Desire and ability to cooperate with and/or under the direction of others.
  • Willingness to participate in call schedule and work irregular hours as necessary.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Six months to one year of previous experience preferred.
  • Ability to follow directions accurately.
  • QUALIFICATIONS

      Professional/Educational

      • Diploma from an accredited surgical technology program.

      • Six months to one year of previous experience preferred.
      • Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
