Job Summary:

Our healthcare facility is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our team of medical professionals. The Surgical Technologist will be responsible for preparing the operating room for surgeries, sterilizing equipment, and assisting the surgical team during surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of surgical procedures and possess strong technical skills.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Prepare the operating room by setting up surgical instruments and equipment
• Manage inventory and supplies for the surgical unit
• Assist with patient positioning and prepping for surgery
• Verify patient information and surgical procedures in patient record systems
• Handle specimens and samples
• Sterilize and organize surgical equipment
• Assist the surgical team during surgical procedures
• Maintain a sterile environment during surgeries

Qualifications and Skills:

• Successful completion of a surgical technology program
• Certification as a surgical technologist
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong technical skills with experience handling medical equipment
• In-depth knowledge of surgical procedures and terminology
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
