Supply Planner

• Salary $70k-$95k, no bonus
• Location: Skokie, IL - Hybrid site, 3 days in office, 2 days remote option -

Report to the Supply Planning Manager. You will be hands on with the execution of an inventory plan for your assigned product lines, based on demand, actual orders, cumulative lead times, variability and available inventory. For a large automotive aftermarket parts manufacturer and distributor.

HIGHLIGHTS

• The role defines the appropriate inventory levels to optimize service, working capital and costs.
• You’ll be hands-on as it relates to SKU specific execution and drive the creation of a finished goods inventory and forecast.
• Overall demand variability and supplier (internal & external) performance.
• May coordinate with the plants, purchasing, distribution, transportation and finance teams to create the appropriate capacity, production, inventory, procurement and transportation plans.
• KPI accountability for overall Material Availability and its impact on OTIF, Inventory Dollars, Days on Hand, and Vendor Shipping Performance for assigned product lines.
• Sett and adjusting planning parameters

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in a high SKU count industry / environment like, Consumer Packaged Goods, Electronics, Automotive Parts
• 4 year degree or strong 6+ years supply chain planning type experience
• 4 year degree with 2 years minimum supply planning experience
• Highly Preferred CPIM certification
• SAP or other ERP’s statistical software package experience
