About the role

This role will be part of the Coating Supply Chain Leadership team. The role has ultimate responsibility for the management and improvement of the supply chain function within Coatings business, specifically to develop and lead the Kerry supply chain team on delivering a feasible supply plan to meet customer expectations, while managing a set of supply chain KPI’s.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and develop the internal S&OP process for Kerry EUM’s
  • Review business performance to plan. Drive development and productivity actions.
  • Inventory Control - held within agreed annual targets including aged stock limit
  • Reports to Supply Chain Director
  • Multiple direct and dotted line reports
  • Ensure all costs are controlled adequately and in line with budget.
  • Lead/direct the team in the process of developing a supply plan which flows into the scheduling process, aligning procurement, raw material call-off and manufacturing activities to resource allocation while meeting customers’ expectations.
  • Manage the various aspects of supply chain activities, ensuring the delivery of value-add service to the business.
  • End to end Inventory management and stock control
  • Management and delivery of agreed Supply Chain KPI's and process compliance with Kerry WOW and to drive process improvement to best practice.
  • Reporting Relationships
  • Microsoft Office needs to be strong particularly Excel
  • Principal Accountabilities
  • Develop and integrate all recommended planning processes to the standardized expected WOW.
  • Manage supply planning, warehousing/logistics strategies (where applicable), raw material strategy, 3–18 months scheduling, transport and new product execution.
  • Management of direct reports within the extended team both in a day-day context and also from an employee development viewpoint.
  • Manage Supply Chain budget and identify opportunities to reduce cost.
  • ERP Systems
  • Preparation of monthly/weekly reporting pack with relevant metrics and KPIs
  • Systems Experience
  • Cost - budget control and reduction opportunities
  • Service Level/OTIF – 95% OTIF RDD
  • Collaboration with functional leads to ensure improved communication.

Qualifications and skills

Education

  • 2- 5+ years in an equivalent position
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Additional post graduate educational achievements are highly desirable.

Technical

  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems is essential.
