Responsibilities of the Quality Engineer

• Manage the ECN process as it pertains to the continuous flow of materials both inbound and outbound
• Ensure the plant understands, utilizes and achieves it logistics plan
• Manage the plants SCM continuous improvement plan
• Manage the plants inventory, ensuring policy and procedures are implemented to achieve accuracy and turn objectives
• Develop a team that has mastered the use of the ERP system, “lean manufacturing” tools, customer systems and Supply Chain Management processes to support the requirements of both our internal and external customers; "the right part, in the right place, at the right time, in the right quantity for the right cost"
• Oversee the SCM team to ensure both customer and internal metrics are maintained at acceptable levels and a proper continuous improvement plan with defined actions, responsibilities and delivery dates that are clearly understood by the team
